Senior PHP Developer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer with proven experience building and scaling SaaS platforms. You’ll play a key role in the architecture, development, and optimization of our core application, working closely with Product, DevOps, and Front-End teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems using modern PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or equivalent)
Collaborate on architecture and design decisions for a scalable SaaS platform
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
Lead and mentor junior developers, and conduct code reviews
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams to define and deliver new features
Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed

Requirements

5+ years of PHP development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role
Strong experience working in SaaS environments
Deep understanding of MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized queries
Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar DevOps tools is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team

Preferred Skills

Experience with microservices architecture
Exposure to front-end technologies (Vue.js, React)
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
