Java Software Engineer

As a Java Back End Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of products and services for my client. I’m looking for a candidate who can handle complex, scalable solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. You will work closely with a team of dedicated engineers and stakeholders to define the technical roadmap and execute high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust back-end systems and Rest APIs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionality.

Lead code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.

Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

Maintain a high degree of knowledge of current technologies, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You can program in an open source OO language (preferably Java).

You are interested in functional programming.

You have knowledge of Rest APIs and microservices.

Knowledge of AKKA, event-driven architecture, Google Cloud are a plus.

Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Git, Jira, CI/CD is a bonus.

You have a higher education degree in computer science or equivalent through experience.
